About Source Leak Detection
Specialist Leak Detection & Plumbing Solutions across Pretoria and Gauteng
Since 2015, Source Leak Detection has provided specialist, non-invasive domestic, pool and commercial leak detection services throughout Pretoria and Gauteng.
Directed by Damon Pheiffer, our company brings more than 17 years of experience in the plumbing trade, combining practical plumbing knowledge with specialist leak detection techniques and equipment.
Our focus is simple: Find the source of the problem accurately, minimise unnecessary damage and provide a professional solution to get the job completed properly — by our qualified and registered plumbers.
We specialise in non-invasive leak detection, using modern detection methods to locate concealed and underground water leaks without unnecessarily breaking up walls, floors, paving or other finished areas.
Whether you are dealing with:
- An unexplained increase in your water bill
- Damp areas
- Water loss
- A suspected underground leak
- A concealed water leak
- A swimming pool losing water
- A commercial plumbing leak
Our experienced team can investigate the problem and establish the most likely source.
More than just leak detection
Finding a leak is only the first part of solving the problem. That is why we have in-house repair teams available to carry out the necessary plumbing repairs once the source of the leak has been identified. This allows us to provide a complete service from detection through to repair, rather than simply locating the problem and leaving you to find another contractor.
Our plumbing experience is a major part of what sets us apart. Plumbing is what we are known for, and our understanding of plumbing systems allows us to approach leak detection with practical knowledge of how systems are constructed, where failures commonly occur and what may be required to rectify them.
Our services cover a wide range of domestic, commercial and pool-related leak detection requirements. From concealed water pipes and underground leaks to pool pipework and difficult-to-access areas, we use a combination of proven testing and detection methods appropriate to the circumstances of each job.
Experience you can rely on
With years of experience in the plumbing industry, our approach is based on practical knowledge, careful investigation and accurate reporting. We understand that a leak can cause significant damage if left unattended, but we also understand that unnecessary breaking, digging and disruption can be costly. Our objective is therefore to source the fault as accurately as possible before repairs are undertaken.
Once the source has been established, we can:
- Explain our findings
- Provide a repair recommendation
- Provide a quotation for the required work where applicable
- Complete the repair through our plumbing team
We are NSPI and IPA registered, reflecting our commitment to professional standards within the industry.
