POOL LEAK DETECTION

CLIENT ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICE AND TERMS:

OUR TEST INCLUDES: PRESSURE, ACOUSTIC, DYE AND TRACER GAS TESTING.

Kindly confirm receipt of this info sheet once you have read it to confirm your booking. And please share your address.

Once payment has been received, we will supply a report on our findings, along with a repair quote for your consideration, within 2 business days of receiving payment.

Our rate is R1950.00, with a R400 call-out fee for addresses outside Pretoria and Centurion. Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving the invoice, card payments are available via our field team.

Kindly be advised, our quoted price only covers one pump, additional pumps quoted for separately.

FOR AN ACCURATE OUTCOME PLEASE ENSURE:

1. Your pool level is filled halfway past your skimmer box/Weir.
2. Pump and selector are fully functional and has no obvious leaks inside pump station if pipes need to be cut to conduct test material to mend will be quoted for.
3. Water must be relatively clear for us to be able to conduct dye test. We can only conduct a dye test within 800mm from coping of pool.
4. If there are any water features, fountains, spouts, breather ports and or any non-standard inlet or outlets to the pool, which cannot be blanked off with standard equipment in order to conduct the necessary pressure tests, the test could be inconclusive and a call out fee will apply. We can plug round diameters 12mm to 73mm.
5. ANY animals on the premises need to please be put away or enclosed to ensure the safety of our technicians. Our technicians will not enter your property or any areas where animals are loose or able to reach our team. Our acoustic equipment is highly sensitive to dogs barking.
6. Kindly allow our technicians to work alone and in silence, our specialist equipment such as acoustic and tracer gas implements need undisturbed concentration.

Any inlets or suction ports deeper than 800 mm below the pool coping are beyond our reach and cannot be plugged or tested. As a result, leak detection results may be inconclusive.

A leak detection investigation is by all means a process of elimination and once a leak/s has been found, the identification of any additional leaks would be subject to the repair of the initial leak. And further detection will be required and quoted for separately.
